Ode to Oktoberfest

Say what you will about the Germans, but they have come up with a few good things over the years. Oktoberfest is one of them. Oktoberfest has become one of my favorite events of the year.

A chill finally hits you when you walk out the door… Snow starts falling (in my favorite places)… The perfect celebration to mark the beginning of autumn.

My wife and I have started a new tradition… every year, we pack up the family and head down to our local Oktoberfest event.

Beer, Brats, Live Music… what’s not to like?! We always have a blast and look forward to it every year.

If you haven’t attended one, I highly recommend going out and checking one out next year.
