Short shirt, fat belly combo… could save your life!

In this particular case, the normally frowned upon combination saved a man’s life. The night started like any normal night… foraging for dinner, finding nothing interesting, and heading out to grab gyros to bring home. I don’t know if the moon wasn’t out or if it was just because it was winter and getting dark earlier, but this particular night seemed very dark… I don’t think the super dark tint on my car windows helps that either.

So I’m driving up the street to grab a couple of gyros, when I see a white stripe about 3-4 feet off of the ground move off of the sidewalk and make its way into the street. As I swerve to avoid the white (almost glow in the dark) stripe, I notice that this is no ordinary levitating white stripe…

It’s a fat guy… in a super short shirt. The shirt is at least 4-6 inches too short, causing his giant, white (almost glow-in-the-dark) belly to dangle out the bottom.
Good thinkin’ dude! …without his stomach hangin’ out, he would’ve been run over!

The biggest shocker for me in all of this was that the short shirt addresses major safety concerns, when you’re walking at night.
And now you know what they are thinking, when they put on this outfit… it’s not poor fashion sense and slovenliness…

it’s all about safety!
