Evolution of WebItDesigns Athlete Sponsorship

There are many things I love about website design (as nerdy as that sounds), but the recent work I’ve done with professional athletes has been my favorite to date. I like the idea of perpetuating the dream that is “doing what you love for a living”. I like being a part, even a minor part, in these athletes ability to generate a living doing the one thing they love the most.

Jenn Berg was the first Professional Athlete I approached to build a website… I was shocked when she agreed! I built her a blog style website… but she was no ordinary client. She was very involved and gave lots of creative input on the site. With the confidence gained from working with Jenn, I approached a few other professional athletes about websites. Surprisingly, I got 2 more to agree to websites. I am currently building a website for a skiing legend (olympic skier, countless film credits, countless competitions) and a female snowboarder on the brink of breaking through to the professional level.

These projects are just the beginning in the evolution of WebItDesigns‘ sponsorship of professional athletes . I plan on continuing with this division of WebItDesigns and building up the team of athletes as much as possible. As our athletes online presence builds… awareness of what we are doing will grow. All in hopes that one day….
