Recent WebItDesigns Sponsored Athletes

In my latest push for the growth of my website business, I have continued to add athletes to the Webitdesigns Pro Team. My concentration has been in the niche market of Professional Skiers and Professional Snowboarders. I stumbled upon the idea by mistake and have developed it into a full-blown marketing and promotion arm of the company. What better way to get the name out there and in front of people, than to work on professional athlete websites and post the webitdesigns logo on their sponsor page?!

Recently, I have noticed that many professional athletes have already created sites (usually WordPress blogs). I decided that instead of offering re-designs of their sites, I would offer them maintentance and upgrade design work. Most of the athletes I have approached with this idea are very responsive to the idea. They usually have all of their content dialed in, but want to add features, clean up headers/footers, add banner ads, add flash galleries/slideshows, etc.

In addition to the maintenance and customization of blogs, I have been fine tuning the Webitdesigns athletes websites Search Engine Optimization. Part of what I am offering these athletes is the expansion of their online presence and helping to promote their “brand”. If I can help them increase website traffic, then the Webitdesigns pro team will be able to leverage their traffic numbers when working on sponsorship deals with manufacturers.

The most recent athletes to be brought onto the Webitdesigns Pro Team are: Jamey Parks and Shaun Raskin. Both are professional skiers who have wordpress sites… and are looking for some fine tuning on their sites.
